Lovely Saturday in Porto :D

Last Saturday I had a trip with other people from my portuguese course :D Our teacher decided to organize it for us, cause we are soooo good students :) So around 1 pm. me, Julia and Thadeus went out from our house to the meeting point at Ribeira. German people are so lazy - Thadeus insisted that we will get bus to the São Bento station - I was like "LOL" but we took bus anyway. So we arrived to the station and went to Ribeira to find out that we are too early, so we went with our teacher to drink coffee ;D It was really warm that day, so we enjoyed our coffees in the sun :P Then we went to Casa do Infante. We listened about history of the building and of course the history of Porto.

We made lots of new friends :D

In the Casa do Infante

It was very short visit cause we had to go to the boat to see all the bridges of Porto. It was fun. I took around 200 pictures while I was on the boat. I was like going from one point to another point with my camera and taking pictures. My "japanese syndrome" took control over me xD And now I have a problem to decide which one is the best.

The sight from the boat :D

Another picture from my big collection :D

After the boat part, it was time for the main part of the trip - wine cellars. We went to Calem cellars. It was really nice to see how they make one. The guide explained us how they produce wines, what are the differences between different types of wine and so on. But anyway the biggest attraction of course was tasting the wines :D I was in heaven :D For sure have to visit more wine cellars ;)

It is MINE :D Stay away from it :P

Barells of goodies :D

Wine tasting :D
And with this nice accent I end this post.

Greek dinner at Artemis's birthday party ;D

Last Friday at the house I'm staying in there was organized Greek dinner to celebrate Artemis's birthday :D To be on time I even escape from my portuguese course ;P So when I arrived at Breiner, I found kitchen full of people cooking. So I changed quickly and started to help as well. So with me in the kitchen there were around 20 cookers :P We had lots of fun while preparing the meal - cooking meat, cutting vegetables, preparing greek salad, warming up at the stove ;)

Warming up at the stove ;D

Greek food at the Breiner ;D
When the food was ready, we went to our "chill out" room to eat :P I don't have any picture of meals, cause I was busy with eating xD But like always we had great time - we started to joke, created new trend of using forks, I became Statue of Liberty ;D And when we finished eating, we moved again to kitchen to drink and eat the cake that Charlotte baked for us. When around 11 pm I felt incredibly sleepy, and decided to have one hour nap ;) So I went to my room, and fell asleep. But at midnight I woke up with new powers, to drink more. When I went downstairs, I was happy to find out that our neighbours gave us food and 2 bottles of alcohol for free !!! I don't know if they are deaf and stupid, or only stupid, but they have to love us - the noisy groupe of erasmus students :D When more people came to our house, we moved to ping-pong room, so we could enjoy ping-pong match Germany-Spain :D
To sum up - the night was amaizing :D

Ania: future of this world :D

Free food, and drinks from neighbours and our dirty table :P
So now is Sunday morning, and I have to study a bit :|

Palacio de Cristal - rainy day :P

Recently I'm stuck with projects and homeworks :| But sometimes I manage to go out. That was last weekend, when I went with friends to Palacio de Cristal. We went there to show this place to Artemis's brother who came the very morning.
So let's start with Saturday morning, I prepared my breakfast chocolate pancakes with vanilla yogurth and bananas, when Artemis came from airport. So additional to my breakfast I got meatballs, chicken from Greece, and chocolate cakes and chocolate cake with raspberries. So I have to tell that I couldn't eat anything else till late evening. After that we rested, and after that we went to Palacio de Cristal.

My first part of breakfast :D

Luckily when we reached that place, we found out that there is starting Japan Week at Porto. So we could watch japanese warriors, and show of shooting with guns.
The funniest part was when warriors gathered all together, and few seconds later the rain started. Well the warriors lost with the rain. But we didn't got scared and just continued our trip. But I have to say that it was raining heavily. However after about and half an hour, the rain stopped, and the sun showed up, so we could walk without our umbrellas :D

Breiner xD

Love rainy Porto ;D

And now forgive me, but I'm going to eat dinner,

Kitsch !!!

Recently nothing special was going on in my life :P I'm unhappy Erasmus that has to study ... Life is brutal sometimes. But soon I will end my portuguese course, and I will have a lot more free time, so I will be back on tracks once again.
Ok, now is good time to stop complaining ... My Erasmus is awesome time, and the party I'm about to write  is a proof of that xD At the House that I'm staying in there is some kind of tradition to organize party for our friends to earn some money. Kitsch party was the first one organized in this academic year. It was really a pleasure to have it. And Ali and Charlotte did just AMAZING work. I'm still speechless how they managed everything, so we all could have great time.
So on Saturday evening we all dressed up in our fancy clothes. Our imagination of course didn't fail us - there was lots of pink and animal patterns. At around 11 pm we opened the door of our house, but there was no one there. The weather that night was a heartless bitch, so it was raining heavily. But we didn't cry about that, and just started to drink on our own. And the cocktail was just delicious. Really you don't feel that you are drinking alcohol. So we were taking good care of this blasting fellow. And most likely people smelled alcohol and good fun, cause around midnight they started to gather.
But I had to start my shift on the ticket stand - so for two hours me and Artemis were working hard. It was really good fun as well, so actually I shouldn't call it work. I had my cocktail in the hand so ... when I finished my work I was kind of tipsy :P I was enjoying my time !!! And I've met there one of my Erasmus from Poznań - long time not seen - Pedro ;D It is always real fun to meet my Erasmus students. It makes me remember where are the best parties ;) - ok, now Poznań and Breyner House  are at the same position ;D
Around 6 am drunk and tired I went to my room just to lie my head on the pillow for 5 minutes. And what?! Of course I woke up at 9 am with my full makeup and kitsch outfit to discover that the party is over. Damn it. The house was dead quiet, so I went to bed again - cause I don't have to tell that I had hangover xD Luckily around 11 am I discovered that the headache disappeared :P
To sum up - the Party rocked !!! There were around 400 (!!!) people at our house !!! No one died :P Well the blood stains on the floor would suggest something totally different. But it was small accident. And now I just wish that the cleaning lady will come tomorrow and have mercy on us and clean that shit. Cause our house is a mess to say the least.

Getting ready with my party glasses ;D

Breyner House ready to rock !!!

Cocktail team stick together xd

At work ;D

with my kid ;D
And now I'm going to do what I was doing all day long - I will be resting :D
Live long and prosper :)

busy Erasmus life ;D

Wednesday - concert, Thursday - concert, Friday - party at Breiner House, Saturday till Monday - Lisbon :D and today is Tuesday - a day that I want to rest a bit ;) but we will see :P
The party on Friday was really nice - it was Marta, Daniel and Tadoleus birthday party ;D Despite the fact that I went to bed after 2 am, I enjoyed the party till the end... Music, screams in the corridors - thanks to them I was updated what was going on till early hours. And on Saturday I woke up at 6 am !!! I took shower, had some breakfest, and in the rain went to the meeting point. If I had to describe Lisbon during my first day, I would say: RAIN and WIND !!! It was raining all day long, but with awesome company I couldn't complain too much about the weather. On Saturday we visited Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, and Torre de Belém. And after that we had first - dinner, and then party at Loft. It was really nice - never ending rivers of Sangria, beer :D People singing all over the place :D But the most nice thing that happend during that day was: Meeting JAVI :D I was really excited that I could meet this crazy Spanish guy :D It made my day :D

VIP section :D

Ready for party !!!

With crazy Spanish guy - Javi ;)

Next day - it was really hard to woke up early, but we wanted to see the city :D So quick breakfast and we went out. We saw lots of nice places, we tried to get lost in the city a bit...  While walking around the city, we found by accident a exhibition celebrating 150 years of portuguese-japanese relations. The drawings there were simply amazing. I just love manga&anime. After that we had meeting point with ESN Porto, and it was like always there was delay ... but let's skip that part, cause I would talk a lot about that.We visited Sé Catedral and Castelo S. Jorge. The views were amazing. We could see almost all Lisbon from view point.
After that we went to the dinner, again with never ending river of alcohol ;)  When our bellies where fool, we went out and ESN Porto made suprise for us. All Erasmus got mask from Scary Movie :DAnd then again we went for the party. The name of the place is Gossip. The place had one huge dance floor. The music was ok. The company was awesome like during all the trip. We went out around 4 am, and got to home in the bus that smelled like one big puke :| For some never ending river of alcohol ended badly.

Sé Catedral
Praça de Comércio

Beyond kawaii

Of course I had to take picture of tram in Lisbon

Did we scare crap of you?
Next day we checked out around noon, and we moved for the last destination of our trip - Parque das Nações. There we visited Oceanario :D I loved all the animals - I saw sharks, raies,  penguins, and lots of other strange creatures. It was my first visit in such place, and for sure I would like to see it again.

I came back to Porto around 10 pm, and went stright to bed. I slept 11 hours, and skipped the lecture in the morning. But I'm really happy that I could go to Lisbon, but anyway I'm planning to visit this city again some other day :P So Lisbon is not so save...
