Piolho ...

Piolho we call this small bug - louse. But in this case is just the name of the pub. Wednesday is always Piolho night ;D Cheap beers, lots of people hunging around meeting with friends ... And I'm one of them now, cause from my house I need just 5 minutes to get there :D
But before I spent last night there, I had to wake up really early because of I had a course at 9 am (!!!). It means to me that I have to wake up at 7 am :( But then I had small break, and then I had again course - till 8 pm (!!!) So I left my faculty when it was dark and it was almost empty building O.o

FEUP after 8 pm

But before my last course started, there was a meeting called: Welcome Day for International Students. It was only for exchange students from FEUP. During that meeting International Officce prestented faulty, and assured us that there are always ready to help us :D Then there were presentations from students organizations, InFEUP, BEST, and EA FEUP. They were short (that's a good point), but they didn't tell nothing special :P We laughed a lot (but not loudly) when InFEUP as one of its tasks mentioned: receive new students at the airport ;D Well, if I decided to wait for them, I would live at the airport till now :P The main part of that meeting was food. It literally disappeard in 5 minutes. But well you can't expect nothing else from students, if you give them a treat for free :P

And finally, my most important point of the day: PIOLHO. It was like always fun. I love TANGO - a beer with groselha (it is like just beer with juice, but it is really good). However I didn't stay too long, cause Porto is getting calder, and I decided to go to the gym next day (finally). Here are some pictures from Piolho :D And now I'm resting for next days cause Reception Week organized by ESN Porto starts tomorrow ;D

Casual Monday in Porto ;D

I started Monday by oversleeping my time to go to the gym, again... I tried to go there last Monday but it ended with the same result :P So I hung around at the house, doing nothing special. In the afternoon, I had test for my portuguese course, cause I decided to learn that language. Finally... The only thing I can do now with my portuguese skills, is offending people ;D And I want to make friends, not enemies, so it's better for me to attend the course. With Mentorawsku I will learn only things like:
- Cala a puta da boca, caralho.
- and I wanted to write more things here, but they are too stupid, or I'm too embarassed to put them here, so you have to forgive me that ;D
So I had that test, that was quite easy, or I think it was easy but actually it wasn't, and only my lack of knowledge keeps me in the state of blissful ignorance :D and maybe it is better for me...
In the afternoon, I went with some people from my house, to the restaurant to eat FRANSEZINHA !!! We went to restaurant called Capa Negra on Rua do Campo Alegre. From the outside it didn't look very nice, but thanks to that we were suprised in the positive way when we got inside. We ordered fransezinhas (almost all of us), and sangria. We didn't have to wait too long, which was good thing, cause I was pretty hungry. The food was delicious, the souce wasn't too spicy, sangria was cold, and my belly was happy.

Happy Brainer family (at least some part of us:D)
In the evening I went to Ribeira with some of my neighbours ;D And I met with Liliana, and her cousine, and her other friends. Drinking in Ribeira - it is like has to be on Monday night. Two drinks for 5 euros ;D And I love black vodka with sprite !!! But unfortunately this night even alcohol couldn't hide the fact that is getting colder and colder in Porto. I'm seriously thinking about buying gloves, and wearing them next Monday ;D What I enjoy during Ribeira night is also the view. It is really nice. Here you have some pics from last night, but they can't show the beauty of this city. You just have to visit me, and enjoy it while drinking with me ;D

Even those big cups of alcohol couldn't make us feel warmer :/

Pimps&Hoes Party at the Breiner House

Ok, so the event I will start my Erasmus diary in this blog will be the last night party :D It was Pimps&Hoes Party at the house I'm staying in. It was party for Malou's birthday (one of my neighbours) and Goodbye party for Dorota and Marta (also my neighbours). As I mentioned on Facebook I have 20 erasmus in one house, so it means lots of reasons to party all night long.
The last one was organized for us, and some of our friends. It wasn't so crowdy cause we didn't wanted to make to much destruction from the very beginning :P
It was fun for us. Guys dressed like pimps. We had pimps that looked like guys from 80s, pimp from a seaside, and even the Robin Hood one ;D Girls looked ... well like bitches ;P I went to bed after 5 am. Then I created this lovely blog xD

Here are some pics, so you can have an idea how good party was ;D

So this is it ;D

Before I went to Portugal, I promised to some people that I will create a blog about my Erasmus in Portugal. So this is it ... After 18 crazy days in Porto, I,ve finally found some time to start it. What was going on during those days. Let me keep it as a secret ;D What I can say is:
1. I've become addicted to coffee ... me ... person that never ever drank coffee in her 23 years long life ;P And now, when I think about galão, I'm in heaven. And of course it has to be accompanied with pasteis de nata.
2. I've put on weight. The secret is how much. Damn! All those pastelarias, late hours of drinking (I mean eating;)) are killing me.
3. I've spent more time in reading room at UP, than in 4 years (!!!) of studies at PUT. In Poznań if you asked a student where is a reading room, the answer would be like that: "I didn't know that we have a reading room in our library" or "I didn't know that we even have a library" or "Another question, please". But I don't complain, I can at least disturb André and Joel ;D
4. I was almost killed by David, while visiting waterfalls near Braga :P His idea that I can climb in a DRESS, was just a little bit stupid. I still hate you David !!!
5. And the rest is a sweet, and dark secret :P

But here you have some pictures :P

My Erasmus in Porto, means for me also a chance to meet with all of Erasmus from Poznań ;D So now I have to say: Thank you !!! Thank you for a great first night in Porto that I spent with André, Joel, Liliana, João, Vera. Especially for my new Mentorawsku for making me drunk that night, and of course for letting me stay at his house ;D And for David for showing me Braga :D
Sushi time ;D with André, and Liliana
